The USAB squad has once again been crowned as Olympic champions. After beating France this past weekend to secure their fifth consecutive gold medal, Adidas surprised Anthony Edwards with a special colorway of his AE 1 sneaker.
Shortly after Edwards and Team USA won the gold medal, Adidas hosted a special event in Paris celebrating its signature athlete. Videos and images from the event were shared across several Adidas accounts on Instagram yesterday, which showed Edwards receiving a previously unseen black and gold AE 1 Low. The sneaker was also presented in a special gold briefcase.
Currently, there's no indication from Adidas that this AE 1 Low colorway will be available to the public. Grab a closer look at the style below.
