Just in time for the back-to-school season, Adidas is referencing Anthony Edwards' one-year stint at the University of Georgia with the next AE 1 release.

Dubbed "Pure Ruby," the latest iteration of Edwards' first Adidas signature shoe wears a popular black and red color scheme, which matches the Georgia Bulldogs' team colors. There's also a subtle hit of grey covering the Trefoil logo on the heel and Edwards' signature logo on the tongue.

Aside from Adidas releasing the standard version of the AE 1, the brand also introduced a low-top variation of the sneaker in July.

Readers will be able to cop this "Pure Ruby" AE 1 starting on Sept. 7 at Adidas.com and at select retailers for $120.
