Before the fireworks get underway, the Washington Nationals are hosting the Boston Red Sox from the nation's capital. Thanks to Under Armour, Bryce Harper and other players around the league are getting a head start on the festivities with specially-designed Fourth of July cleats.
For Harper, his Under Armour Harper 3 (seen here in mid and low configurations) gets covered in overlays with multicolor firework graphics. The remainder of the upper is done up in black, with silver dots producing a starry effect.
Other UA players around the league will be clad in the Yard cleat featuring a similar design. Along with the cleats, select athletes will wear batting gloves and sleeves with the same firework themes.
While there does not appear to be any plans to bring these cleats to retail, readers can shop Under Armour's USA-themed "Stars and Stripes" collection now from underarmour.com.
