Michael J. Fox Confirms That the Nike Mag Will Be Released in 2016

The moment we've all been waiting for is here. After learning earlier today that there is in fact a self-lacing version of the Nike Mag awaiting a reveal in NYC, Marty McFly himself has just updated us on the sneaker's official release.

Michael J. Fox sent out this Tweet moments ago that included a handwritten note from Tinker Hatfield. According to Hatfield's message, the self-lacing Mags are set to be released in 2016, with proceeds once again benefiting the Michael J. Fox Foundation in effort to eliminate Parkinson's Disease.

We'll let you know as soon as we hear more information, but for now, it sounds like the Nike Mag won't be available for at least a few more months. Now might be a good time to start putting away some spare cash.
