The Nike Moon Racer is returning in three brand new colorways this weekend.
Inspired by 1972's Moon Shoe prototype, the Moon Racer fuses a similarly-styled mesh upper with Nike's current technology. The uppers are accented by various suede overlays, a leather Swoosh and heel tab, and sit atop a React midsole borrowed from the Vapor Street Flyknit. As a playful nod to the name of the silhouette, each insole also displays an all-over moon graphic.
The most notable colorway of the bunch features a sail upper, tan overlays, navy blue Swoosh, and solar red hit on the midsole. The second option offers a more toned-down look with an all-black upper, white contrast stitching, speckled midsole, and blue section of the midsole. The final pair from the trio dresses the Moon Racer with a brown upper, cream branding, and a bright yellow accent.
All three colorways of the Nike Moon Racer will be available via Nike SNKRS and other select retailers on Saturday, Nov. 17 for $150 each.
