With 2018 at about its halfway point, Nike has already provided a heavy output of both new and old color schemes of the Air Max 98 as it continues the celebration of the retro runner's 20th anniversary. While the Swoosh has certainly released some eye-catching pairs up to now, this latest pair takes a more toned-down approach.
The upper of this Air Max 98 dons a black mesh with anthracite suede and dark grey leather overlays. Adding a more premium feel to the pair is the use of snakeskin leather on the top eyelet and mud guard similar to what has been seen previously on the "Exotic Skin" release. A white midsole provides contrast and the pair sits atop a black outsole.
Anyone looking to cop this pair can do so at overseas retailers like Titolo now for $207. A stateside release has yet to be announced.
