After officially opening the voting on May 8, Nike has announced the six winners of its "On Air" design contest.

Narrowed down from 18 finalists, one sneaker emerged victorious from each of the participating cities. The competition gave designers from around the world an opportunity to create an Air Max of their choosing that they felt best represented their respective hometowns of New York City, Seoul, London, Tokyo, Paris, and Shanghai.

The next step for the winners will be a trip to Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon to meet with product development and marketing teams to bring their ideas to life. While a release date for the six-city pack has not been made official, expect these pairs to drop in connection to Air Max Day 2019.
