The seven-sneaker collab between popular anime Dragon Ball Z and Adidas has been one of the most talked about projects of the year and ahead of the first two releases, new images have surfaced of the collection's "Shenron" colorway.
Slated to release in December of this year, the Adidas EQT Support ADV Primeknit is the silhouette that will feature the show's famous dragon. Instagram account @s.sam.group gave us a new, detailed look at the seventh and final sneaker in the collab.
UPDATE (12/11): Adidas has officially announced the "Shenron" EQT Support ADV Primeknit from its Dragon Ball Z collaboration. The final drop from the collection represents Shenron, one of the series' most notable characters. The dragon is summoned when all seven Dragon Balls are collected. A green Primeknit upper has been designed to represent Shenron's scales, while a gold heel mimics the creature's stomach. Details include red Kanji symbols on the heel, a reptile leather heel tab, and special DBZ insoles graphics and packaging.
This "Shenron" Dragon Ball Z x Adidas EQT Support ADV Primeknit, as well as a more limited black and gold version, will arrive at adidas.com on Dec. 22 for $170.
