In January, Nike officially unveiled the designs for its "On Air" collection created by six Air Max fans in celebration of Air Max Day 2018. Inspired by each designer's respective home city, here's a better look at the "Neon Seoul" Air Max 97 dropping next month.
Created by Gwang Shin, the shoe draws inspiration from the neon signs spotted throughout the South Korean capital during the night time. The upper features black leather, paired with vibrant red and blue piping around surrounding the silver neoprene underlays. Additional details include an oversized reflective Swoosh logo on the lateral side and the Seoul branding on the tongue. Capping off the look is a classic Air Max 97 tooling in black.
Expect the "Neon Seoul" Nike Air Max 97 along with the rest of the "On Air" collection to release on Nike.com and at select Nike retailers next month.
UPDATE (03/11): According to @pyleaks on Twitter, the "Neon Seoul" Nike Air Max 97 is slated to release on April 13 for $200.
