While many of the upcoming releases by Jordan Brand are taking inspiration from overseas, the brand doesn't look too far for the next Air Jordan 5.
Taking a more domestic approach, the "Wings" Jordan 5 is an artistic ode to Chicago, featuring designs and illustrations from students at Little Black Pearl, a nonprofit cultural arts center serving Chicago's youth. Additional details include a Wings-shaped lace lock and teal-colored plastic mesh panels. Also seen vaguely in the photos is the iconic Wings logo tucked behind the tongue.
This "Wings" Air Jordan 5 will release on Saturday, Sept. 29 on SNKRS.
