It looks like the upcoming "International Flight" colorway isn't the only trip across the pond in store for the Air Jordan 5.
Adding to the international-themed retro releases is a new style inspired by French football club Paris Saint-Germain. This stealthy colorway, which is reminiscent of the OG "Black/Metallic" Air Jordan 5, takes its all-black blocking from The Parisians' alternate uniforms and contains a number of references to the team throughout.
Similar to the aforementioned "International Flight" makeup, this style features a graphic underneath its side panel netting, which reads "Paris" with a Jumpman logo replacing the letter "a" on this pair. The number 75 is embroidered near the back—a possible reference to zip codes used throughout the city of Paris—while a co-branded badge appears at the heel.
As a longtime sponsor of the club, Nike has released a number of Paris Saint-Germain-inspired sneakers throughout the years, but this will be the first time the team has received an Air Jordan retro.
This "Paris Saint-Germain" Air Jordan 5 does not currently have a release date, but readers can expect more details soon.
