RZA and Winston Duke are among the list of celebrities who are set to appear at the 2026 Anime Awards.

In addition to the aforementioned names, Crunchyroll has revealed that cosplay star Snitchery, actor Nanase Nishino, and esports/gaming host Nyvi Estephean will appear at the show, plus more.

Actor Asuka Saito, singer DANNA, and cosplayer Enako will be the show's presenters. And when awards aren’t being given out on stage, attendees will hear a slew of live performances centered around anime, such as a show of "Haruka Kanata" from Naruto by ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, and a tribute marking the 10th anniversary of My Hero Academia by artist PORNOGRAFFITI.

During the show, there will also be a performance that celebrates Neon Genesis Evangelion turning 30 years old. The tribute will be performed by Yoko Takahashi, with support from the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.

The 2026 Anime Awards will stream its pre-show live from Tokyo on May 23 at 5pm JT. The actual awards ceremony will begin streaming an hour later.

Some of the major categories that will be voted on are Anime of the Year, Film of the Year, Best Original Anime, and Best Continuing Series. The anime programs Dan Da Dan, My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, and Chainsaw Man are leading the nominations.

If you want to participate in the voting process, it runs through April 15, meaning you’ve got almost two weeks to make your voice heard. You can vote here.

In other anime news, the highly anticipated Daemons of the Shadow Realm anime will debut on Crunchyroll on April 4 at 9am PT.
