Simon Guobadia, the estranged husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams, has reportedly been detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
People reports that Williams addressed Guobadia’s situation in a now-deleted Instagram post.
"It's disheartening to see my estranged husband make choices that have led to this outcome. At this moment my priority is moving forward with my family," Williams wrote with a prayer hands emoji.
People reports that the Nigerian native is being held at Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia.
Just last year, Guoboadia celebrated being in the United States for 42 years with an Instagram post. That same month, Williams filed for divorce from him after 15 months of marriage.
President Donald Trump recently referred to his administration's ongoing mass deportations as “draining the swamp” to restore the government.
While addressing the Conservative Political Action Conference, Trump claimed that “the fraudsters, liars, cheaters, globalists, and Deep State bureaucrats are being sent packing.”
“The illegal alien criminals are being sent home,” he continued. “We're draining the swamp and restoring government by the people, for the people."
Trump also claimed that the United States had been “controlled” by the “radical left” but that would no longer be an issue.
"For years, Washington was controlled by a sinister group of radical left Marxists, warmongers and corrupt special interests who drained our wealth attacked our liberties obliterated our borders and sucked our country dry—not any longer," Trump added.
Earlier this week, the Department of Homeland Security announced that in August it will end the temporary protected status for 500,000 Haitians who are living in the country.
