The Jackass crew has staked a permanent claim on the cosmos, and the shape is exactly what you'd expect.
Every cast member of Jackass: Best and Last was gifted a personally named star in the night sky as a promotional stunt tied to the film's June 26 theatrical release. When those stars are plotted together, they form a penis-shaped constellation.
The constellation has been officially christened "The Little Dicker” and can be seen at thelittledicker.com
The stunt was unveiled three days before the film’s opening. The cast whose stars make up the constellation includes Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Jason "Wee Man" Acuña, "Danger Ehren" McGhehey, and Preston Lacy, alongside newer members Zach Holmes, Sean "Poopies" McInerney, Jasper Dolphin, Eric Manaka, and Rachel Wolfson.
Jackass: Best and Last is the fifth and final entry in the franchise, directed by Jeff Tremaine. At CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Knoxville introduced the project with a farewell note. "My name is Johnny Knoxville, and I'm going to try to not get emotional. This is the last Jackass film the world will ever see,” he said.
The film mixes new material, including a robotic prostate exam performed on Steve-O and Sean "Poopies" McInerney applying a shock collar to his penis, with greatest-hits archival footage and tributes to the late Ryan Dunn.
Phallic imagery has been a franchise staple since the MTV series launched in 2000. Jackass Forever (2022) famously opened with what appeared to be a city-crushing monster that turned out to be Chris Pontius's green-painted penis towering over a miniature set.
Jackass: Best and Last opens in theaters on June 26.
