The Jackass crew isn’t done just yet.

According to IGN, Johnny Knoxville confirmed this week that a new installment of the long-running stunt franchise is officially on the way, with a Jackass movie set to hit theaters on June 26, 2026.

Knoxville shared the news directly with fans via Instagram, posting a characteristically offbeat message that made it clear the chaos is far from over. “Well a wang dang and hot damn doodle, we are starting the year off with a bang,” he wrote. “We wanted to let you know that this summer Jackass is back! We will see you in theatres June 26th. More to come but wanted you to hear it from us first!”

The post was jointly shared by Knoxville, the official Jackass account, and Gorilla Flicks, the production company founded by franchise co-creator Jeff Tremaine. The new Jackass movie will be released nationwide in theaters by Paramount Pictures.

The upcoming film arrives four years after 2022’s Jackass Forever, which was framed at the time as a final sendoff for the original crew. That film leaned heavily into both nostalgia and escalation, featuring stunts that included Knoxville being launched by an enraged bull, Danger Ehren facing a black bear while coated in honey, and Steve-O subjecting himself to bumblebees in places best left unmentioned.

While Jackass Forever brought back most of the original lineup, it also introduced a younger wave of performers, including Zach Holmes, Sean “Poopies” McInerney, Jasper Dolphin, Eric Manaka, and Rachel Wolfson. Whether that blend of veterans and newcomers continues in Jackass 5 hasn’t been confirmed yet, as no official cast list has been announced.

One notable absence is expected to remain Bam Margera, who was removed from Jackass Forever for contract violations related to substance abuse. Margera has since publicly stated, “You couldn’t offer me enough money to want to do another ‘Jackass.’”
