Blac Chyna is very excited about her engagement to Derrick Milano.
Chyna recently opened up about the next step in her relationship with her songwriting fiancé in a sit down with Entertainment Tonight.
“It feels good, it feels great,” she explained with Milano sitting beside her. “It feels natural. It feels like this is what I’m supposed to be doing and doing it with you.”
Milano also gave his perspective on the moment. “I just feel like it's the next step to grow,” he explained. “I feel like in life you have different steps. I feel like this is a big step. I feel excited and prepared.”
Milano also explained why he chose to propose to Chyna on the East Coast instead of the West where he primarily resides. “Because I’m in Los Angeles a lot, it’s hard to spend time as much on the East Coast — and that's where a lot of our family members are,” Milano revealed. “I wanted to go somewhere that both of our families are mutual and in attendance.”
Chyna and Milano also revealed that they’re getting married in the winter. Which winter though, the two wouldn’t confirm.
In October, Milano proposed to Chyna at Howard University’s homecoming celebration, Yard Fest. In the video of the proposal, Milano popped the question to her during his performance.
In May, Chyna shared an Instagram Reel montage of herself and Milano to celebrate the fact that they’d been dating for a year. "Happy 1 year anniversary @derrickmilano . 🙏🏽❤️ Reflecting on a year of pure magic and joy with you, my dearest Derrick," wrote Chyna.
