Tyrese compares Bad Bunny’s cultural impact to that of the late Martin Luther King Jr. in a new interview with Complex.
The Transformers and Fast & Furious alum, who will soon be seen taking on Tank in a special VERZUZ event, had nothing but glowing praise for the recent Super Bowl Halftime Show headliner in the conversation. While Tyrese made clear that he doesn’t speak Spanish, he’s been able to tap into the magic of what Bad Bunny offers to the world.
“I don't speak Spanish, but I love what Bad Bunny means to the culture,” he said, as seen below. “Love who he is musically, love who he is politically. Love Bad Bunny. I feel like there's more than one way to be Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. You don't always have to stand at a podium and be a preacher and carry a Bible to contribute to diversity, impact, and making global statements. From using your presence, your nationality, where you're from, and making impactful statements.”
Tyrese and Tank’s VERZUZ is set to happen on March 26. As always, we’ve compiled a rundown of everything you need to know ahead of the event. See it here.
