IShowSpeed’s Senegal trip proved particularly eventful, at one point seeing the travel-focused streaming star being casually handed a baby.

The surprise baby cameo arrived as Speed and his team were busy battling less-than-ideal streaming circumstances, with numerous lags and freezes. In an effort to remedy the problem, Speed and his crew stepped outside, at which point a baby was handed to him.

“Yo, baby,” Speed said as he graciously accepted the child, holding him close as he continued to walk while keeping an eye on the streaming quality.

Simultaneously, he was offered a shirt from another fan, who said it was intended as “a gift.”

“Check the bitrate, check the bitrate!” Speed shouted as the stream visibly improved.

Shortly after, members of Speed’s security detail advised having the baby returned to a nearby woman, presumably the child’s mother.

“Oh, this your baby?” Speed asked. “I was like, whose baby is that?”

As previously reported, another breakout moment from Speed’s Senegal stream involved security guards slamming into a parked truck while hanging off the side of a moving vehicle. Speed was quick to check on both guards, asking “Are you good?” and urging them to consider riding inside the vehicle instead.

Earlier this year, Speed spoke candidly about his desire to bring the world-expanding experience of travel to fans who might otherwise never get to partake in such experiences. In fact, Speed sees this as a key element of his work, likening himself to a “test dummy” for viewers.

“Chat, that’s what I’m here for,” he said at the time. “I’m for the people that can’t travel.”
