The series, inspired by Ernie Barnes’ unforgettable “The Sugar Shack” painting, boasts music direction from Anderson .Paak and is set to give viewers intimate, stripped-down performances from a variety of emerging artists. Each session of the new series aims to serve as a celebration of “the essence of soul in motion,” per the team behind the show, with rising stars invited to reinterpret classic songs for a new audience.

For the inaugural Still Lounge by Dre and Snoop episode, recorded at Henson Studios in Los Angeles, Tonio Armani offers his take on Barrett Strong’s Berry Gordy and Janie Bradford-penned “Money (That’s What I Want),” previously covered by The Beatles.
