Still G.I.N. by Dre and Snoop is welcoming a new brand partner to the family, and it’s someone who more than makes sense for the premium spirits brand.

Indeed, Martha Stewart, who last year let the world know that she had originally pushed for Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg to soundtrack her hit Netflix documentary, has been enlisted to not only promote the Still G.I.N. by Dre and Snoop brand, but also to share her own recipes using the signature gin.

According to Stewart, the gin in question has become her “go-to spirit” as of late, leading to the development of her Water Melly recipe.

"I think gin has to have a superior flavor,” Stewart, whose friendship with Snoop is well-documented, said of being recruited to serve as brand partner. “It has to be smooth and not intrusive on your senses. STILL G.I.N. is so flavorful and so aromatic. It's my go-to spirit now and I use it in cocktails where I might have used something else before. It’s just that versatile and good.”

As for the Water Melly, Martha’s first-ever Still G.I.N. cocktail recipe, it’s billed as “an elevated take on gin and juice.”

This time last year, Dre and Snoop were gearing up for the release of their Missionary album, featuring Eminem and 50 Cent. Its December 2024 release was commemorated with a Complex cover story, available in full here.

“I think it took maybe 20 years for Snoop to allow me to work with him this way,” Dre told Jillian Hardeman-Webb of what made the creative process behind the album unique for them both. “And the way we produced the record and the way we did the writing and the music and the whole nine is a different way of us working.”
