Clavicular, fresh off very Clavicularly opting to livestream his nose job on Kick, is going public with an apparent financial dispute involving Miami’s Bacara Club.
The short of it, per a “legal letter” obtained by TMZ and excerpted in this report, is that Clavicular’s lawyer is arguing that his client’s $400,000 investment in the club was contingent on a 50 percent cut of profits. However, according to the streamer’s team, he “has not been paid a single penny.”
Elsewhere, Clavicular’s lawyer attributes the club’s success to his client’s involvement, further alleging that his former business partners recently said he would be required to pay $2 million in order to gain access to his cut of the profits. A return of his initial $400,000 is now being demanded, plus his share of the proverbial pie. Additionally, Clavicular reportedly wants his likeness to be scrubbed from all club promo.
In a livestream clip that circulated earlier this month, Clavicular told fans he had “flipped” his shares and made a profit.
“I don’t give a shit about Bacara anymore,” he said at the time. “I already made my bag.”
In the same clip, the looksmaxxing progenitor said he no longer had “any ownership” of the club due to having sold “100 percent” of his shares.
“Do they actually think the club is gonna work without me?” he wondered, adding that he would still visit the streaming-friendly Miami nightlife spot to “show support.”
The TMZ-revealed letter is said to be addressed to Hai Waknine and Christina Waknine, whose rep, Johnny Donovan, issued a statement to the publication pointing to their intentions of “handling this matter professionally and responsibly.” The duo also disputes the basis of the claims being made by Clavicular’s lawyer, namely arguing that the club, despite his suggestion otherwise, existed prior to him attaching his name to it.
Complex has reached out to Bacara Club reps for comment. This story may be updated.
As of this writing, a photo of Clavicular from April of this year still appears on the nightclub’s official Instagram page. He can also be seen in a post shared by Christine Waknine in May.
“This is a difficult world to navigate as a young man,” reads a post shared to Clavicular’s X account on Tuesday (June 16). “I was pressured into unideal agreements, and making various statements that weren’t accurate [or] my position. All is well though. It will be resolved.”
