Seth Rogen offered a candid insight into his interactions with fans, admitting that he occasionally smokes weed with them if the moment feels right.

During a recent live recording of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Rogen was joined by Ben Stiller at the Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills.

The Pineapple Express actor revealed that people would rather smoke with him than hit him with a catchphrase. However, Rogen explained that there aren’t rules for smoking with him, as he would rather give that person an “awesome” experience.

"I usually don't, and like if it seems like it'll really be special for the person, sometimes I will just come up to you like on the street,” said Rogen, who stars alongside Keanu Reeves and Aziz Ansari in the upcoming film Good Fortune.

“Yeah, I've had moments where I'm like this is a big moment for this person. Least I could do is take a couple hits with them, like that's awesome," he said.

In 2019, Rogen launched Houseplant, a cannabis lifestyle brand catering to smokers with taste. Among its offerings is the “By Seth” collection, a series of ashtrays Rogen hand-sculpted himself. The company also sells curated vinyl mixes designed to match different strains of marijuana.

Rogen invited fans to smoke with him outside of a screening for his 2014 film, The Interview. The actor shared a tweet in which fans could send an email requesting to smoke with him at the screening.

“We are going to do a screening of #TheInterviewMovie in Colorado where I get baked with everyone first, and we can smoke weed in the theater,” he wrote at the time.
