Sesame Street has officially entered the chat and they're embracing the viral "67" meme in the most on-brand way possible.
On Sunday, the beloved children's show posted a playful nod to the trend that's been dominating social media, tweeting: "There is only one person who has known the power of 6-7 since the beginning.... Ah ah ah! ⚡️🔢💜.”
The message was paired with an image of Count von Count, Sesame Street's resident number-loving vampire, dramatically gesturing toward the numbers six and seven, a perfect fit for a meme built on counting humor, chaos, and the internet's recent obsession with the two digits.
The post comes as the "67" meme continues to explode across social media and is even spilling into real-life chaos.
Earlier this month, Oregon-based sports reporter Olivia Cleary went viral after a swarm of rowdy fans crashed her live shot during coverage of the Oregon State University vs. Lafayette University game. Several young men surrounded Cleary mid-broadcast, loudly chanting "67" and mimicking the meme's signature hand motion. One fan leaned in for a fist bump while another repeatedly yelled in her face as others laughed and joined in.
The clip, posted by her colleague Brett Austin Taylor, has amassed more than 6.5 million views on X, adding fuel to the meme's momentum.
Despite the chaos, Cleary remained composed and later issued a statement.
"I'm aware of the video circulating and want to thank everyone for the support," she said. "At the start of my live shot, fans were kind and added a fun element… As it went on, a few fans stuck around and things got a little out of hand, which is what you saw."
She added that "live TV is unpredictable," and said Beaver Nation has "for the most part been very welcoming."
The "67" craze originally took off thanks to Skrilla's viral 2025 hit "Doot Doot (67)", released as part of the deluxe edition of Zombie Love Kensington Paradise. The track spread across TikTok and then mainstreamed further after being featured in an episode of South Park.
While fans have assigned countless interpretations to the numbers, Skrilla previously told Complex that "67" represents "negative to positive," reflecting his own personal change in mindset.
