The upcoming defamation trial between Megan Thee Stallion and blogger Milagro Gramz is set to feature some surprising names on the defense’s witness list, including Joe Budden and Kylie Jenner.

According to a September 5 filing in the Southern District of Florida, Budden and Jenner were named as potential defense witnesses for Milagro Gramz (real name Milagro Elizabeth Cooper), who Megan accuses of running an online smear campaign in connection with Tory Lanez’s 2022 criminal trial.

Jenner’s presence on the list likely ties back to the July 2020 pool party she hosted in Hollywood. That night, Megan was shot during a drive home in an attack for which Lanez was convicted two years later.

Megan has framed the civil case as a broader fight against the misuse of online platforms to target and discredit women in the industry.

“It’s time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying, and the publication of misinformation about my personal and professional life,” she said in a statement earlier this year.

She added, “I’ve endured countless attacks on my character based on false narratives from social media bloggers misrepresenting themselves as journalists. It’s unacceptable behavior and these individuals need to understand there will be repercussions for recklessly posting lies and defamatory falsehoods.”

Budden’s inclusion raises questions about how his prior commentary on Megan or his role in hip-hop media might factor into the defense strategy. The filing does not specify the exact testimony expected from him or Jenner. The witness list also includes Lanez himself, his father Sonstar Peterson, music executive Carl Crawford (who ran Megan's former label 1501 Records), and blogger Jason Lee.

The trial is scheduled to begin on November 17, 2025.
