Clavicular is facing a criminal charge in Florida after authorities say he fired a gun at a dead alligator during a livestream in March.

According to court records, prosecutors have charged the streamer with a misdemeanor count tied to discharging a firearm in a public area. The incident allegedly took place in the Everglades and Francis S. Taylor Wildlife Management Area, where officials say the shots were fired on public land.

Investigators say the alligator was already dead and floating in the water when Clavicular pulled out a handgun and began shooting at it. The moment was captured on video during a livestream and later circulated online, prompting an investigation by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Authorities say the act violated laws that prohibit firing weapons in public spaces or near roadways and occupied areas. If convicted, Clavicular could face up to a year behind bars. Two other individuals connected to the incident have been hit with the same charge, according to reports.

While the alligator was not alive at the time, law enforcement sources noted that the situation could have carried more serious consequences if it had been. The American alligator is protected under federal law because of its similarity to other threatened species, so harming a live animal could trigger additional charges.

Clavicular’s legal team has pushed back on the allegations, saying their client was acting based on directions from a licensed airboat guide during the excursion.

“Our client has been summoned to appear for a misdemeanor charge that stems from following the instructions of a licensed airboat guide,” his attorneys said in a statement. “No animals or people were harmed, and we are confident that the full context will clarify the situation.”

Clavicular is expected to appear in court as the case moves forward.
