Peewee Longway has taken a plea deal, admitting to federal drug and gun charges in exchange for a likely prison sentence of between 10 and 14 years.
The Atlanta rapper, real name Quincy Williams, was reportedly swept up in a massive September 2024 drug bust in Georgia. About a year later, he was charged by federal prosecutors with drug and gun violations in a five-count indictment.
On April 1, per court documents viewed by Complex, the rapper appeared in an Atlanta courtroom to plead guilty to two of those five counts: Conspiracy to Possess with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
In return, the other three counts were dismissed, and prosecutors agreed to recommend a maximum sentence of 14 years. Longway agreed, for his part, to recommend a sentence of no less than 10 years. The ultimate decision will be up to a judge. For more about how federal sentencing guidelines work, read our breakdown from the Diddy case.
According to prosecutors, a studio connected to Longway was found to have 3,000 fentanyl pills and six firearms, with additional loaded firearms in the rapper’s house. Law enforcement also found evidence of text messages concerning drug trafficking.
There was also, per a judge presiding over some aspects of the case, “compelling evidence tying defendant to a transaction involving 4 kg. of meth, which was trafficked through the studio.”
Longway will be sentenced on July 9. Complex has reached out to his attorneys for comment, but they did not immediately respond.
The rapper was charged in 2024 in a separate multi-defendant federal case in Georgia, but progress on that case has slowed to a crawl, and no further hearings for him are scheduled, per court records.
