The Bible that Robert Kardashian signed and gifted to O.J. Simpson reportedly sold at an auction for more than $80,000.

According to TMZ, Malcolm LaVergne, the special administrator of Simpson's estate, has confirmed the Bible was sold to an undisclosed buyer for $65,800, or $80,276 with its buyer's premium.

Kardashian signed and inscribed the Bible and gave it to Simpson the day after he was arrested and charged with murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Simpson, and Ronald Goldman in 1994.

Kardashian's daughter Kim tried to purchase the Bible before the auction for $15,000, but Simpson's estate turned down the offer.

The auction brought in an estimated $300,000 in sales. Other items that were sold included a framed photo of O.J. Simpson and former President Bill Clinton that was signed by the latter and went for over $18,000. A replica of the former football star's 1968 Heisman Trophy was auctioned off for $42,700.

LaVergne has stated he wanted to sell Simpson's belongings to settle his debt with all the creditors who have been looking for money owed since he died last year.

In a conversation with People earlier this month, LaVergne explained he didn't accept Kim Kardashian's $15,000 offer because there was already a contract in place for it to be auctioned off.

"The amount is why I had no choice, because why would I spend $15,000 of estate money—why would I spend $15,000 in attorney's fees—to sell it to Kim for $15,000?" LaVergne said. "That's a zero-sum game. That's a bad business model. If Kim had offered $150,000 for it, we would've been in court getting this approved outside of the auction."
