Over the weekend, comedian Amy Schumer invited a Trump supporter on stage during a show in Tampa, Florida to break down why she hasn't been feeling his antics (spoiler alert: it's because he's a douche). During the conversation, nearly 200 people walked out of her show, probably because she called him an "orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster."

Because she's a person who gets paid to speak her mind, Schumer hasn't backed down. During her Tuesday night show at Madison Square Garden, she upped the ante, reading a hilarious open letter "apologizing" to the people that booed and walked out of her Tampa show.

"Dearest Tampa," Amy began. "I’m sorry you didn’t want me, a comedian who talks about what she believes in, to mention the biggest thing going on in our country right now. How could I think it was OK to spend five minutes having a peaceful conversation with someone with different views?"

"After the show," she continued, "I want you to know that I will go straight to a rehab facility that will teach me how to make all people happy,. And Tampa, I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have said that he was an orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster… [I] shouldn’t have said that. I will never again say that he is an orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster!"

With Amy currently on tour through the end of the year, one has to assume this is far from over. Hell, she has a show after tonight's final debate. You can only hope that she's saving some of her best venom for the days leading up to this year's ultra-important election.
