It appears Jamie Foxx wants justice.

According to TMZ, the 57-year-old actor is looking to press charges in connection to a glass-throwing incident earlier this month. The drama went down on Dec. 13 at Beverly Hills’ Mr. Chow, where Foxx was celebrating his birthday with friends and family — including his daughters, Corinne and Anelise Foxx, and his ex, Kristin Grannis. At one point during the night, an alleged fight broke out between Foxx’s party and another group of patrons.

As tensions escalated, an individual allegedly threw a glass and hit Foxx in the mouth. A witness told TMZ the Oscar winner sustained an injury that required stitches.

Law enforcement has yet to make any arrests in connection to the incident. However, an insider claimed Foxx is fully cooperating with authorities and intends to press criminal charges. The source said Foxx wants the glass-thrower punished to possibly prevent a similar incident.

Foxx reportedly left Mr. Chow before Beverly Hills police arrived at the scene. Officers were responding to a report of a possible assault with a deadly weapon but determined the report was unfounded.

“Instead, the incident involved a physical altercation between parties,” a department news release read. “The BHPD conducted a preliminary investigation and completed a report documenting the battery. No arrests were made.”

The details surrounding the altercation have yet to be confirmed, but a source told TMZ that things got heated when a group of customers started “being rude and vulgar to Jamie.” The actor reportedly asked them to stop, which allegedly prompted someone to throw a glass.

Foxx seemingly addressed the incident in an Instagram post.

“The devil is busy… but I’m too blessed to be stressed,” the post read. “The devil is a lie. Can’t win here… thank you to everybody that pray and check on me… when your light is shining bright… they try to bring you darkness … but they don’t know that you’re built for it…”
