Terry Crews wants the world to know that his built physique comes from a lot of hard work.

As part of his Unlock Your Main Character campaign with supplement brand MyProtein, the actor cleared up one of the biggest misconceptions about him in a social media clip.

"No, Terry Crews has not done steroids. I have never done steroids, never," said the former Everybody Hates Chris star.

He continued, "This body has been working out for 40 years, okay? That's all. Probably a little more than that, I started when I was 14. I'm 56 now, so, you do the math."

Crews concluded, "I just never stopped, you know what I mean? I had a couple breaks, but man, I love it. This is my life, I love it."

In 2019, Men's Health reported that Crews, a former NFL linebacker, has just 6 percent body fat. In an accompanying fitness routine, Crews provided a breakdown of his vigorous biceps and chest training.

While that number has possibly changed with age, Crews maintains a strict diet well into his 50s, revealing to GQ last year that he doesn't eat until 2 p.m. After a few hours of intermittent fasting, where Crews only has amino acids and water, the actor regularly eats eggs, bacon, vegetables, an orange, fibrous snacks like trail mix, and a protein shake until dinner and an ice cream dessert.
