Sofia Vergara and Lewis Hamilton have the dating rumor mill abuzz, but the two reportedly aren't romantically involved.
According to TMZ, the Griselda actress was spotted having lunch with the British race car driver amongst friends in New York on Tuesday (January 14). In paparazzi snaps from the occasion, Vergara sat beside him while wearing sunglasses and was said to be "so engaged in the conversation she barely touched her food."
Despite the hang session, a source told TMZ that the two are not dating and that the lunch was a casual friend meet-up.
The gathering was “merely a casual lunch with a big group of friends in a group setting” and “by no means a date," another source told Us Weekly.
While Hamilton's dating history includes Nicole Scherzinger and Winnie Harlow, he was last linked to Shakira, who denied the relationship to Rolling Stone last year. "I’m not thinking about that," the vocalist said at the time. "What space do I have for a man right now?"
Vergara divorced her second husband, Joe Manganiello, last year after nine years of marriage, because the actress allegedly didn't want to become a second-time mother in her 50s. While Manganiello has denied that was the case, in an interview with Variety last August, Vergara was indifferent about the allegations.
"At the end of the day, you never even know if that’s what he said for real," she told the publication. "I’ve read a lot of things that I’ve said that I’m like, 'Huh?' What am I gonna do, call him? I don’t know if he even said that."
