Kate Hudson has a clear preference when it comes to dating. Not that she’s looking;the actress is engaged to folk rock artist Danny Fujikawa.
The Running Point star was on the Monday (April 27) episode of Watch What Happens Live, and while answering questions about Gen-Z slang and her favorite movie by her mom, Goldie Hawn, she was asked who makes the best lover between actors, athletes, and musicians.
“Musicians a thousand percent,” Hudson said.
“I play a little banjo,” joked fellow guest Justin Theroux.
Hudson and Danny Fujikawa have been in a relationship since 2018, got engaged in 2021, and share a daughter, Rani Rose, who’s 7-years-old. The Almost Famous star also has two older sons, Ryder, 22, and Bingham, 14, from two previous relationships.
Hudson is also a singer in her own right, and released her debut album, Glorious, in 2024. The album was co-produced by Fujikawa, formerly the lead singer and guitarist of the band Chief.
“I was thinking about this the other day — lately, Danny and I write, like, a song a week, and sometimes multiple,” Hudson told GRAMMY.com in 2024. “I love it, we love doing it together. So it's something that I can't wait to, hopefully, be able to do just more of.”
