Jackie Chan is applying pressure on the Rush Hour crew for a long-awaited fourth installment.

The Karate Kid: Legends actor, 71, was interviewed by ScreenRant's Liam Crowley at the film's premiere and asked about potentially reuniting with Chris Tucker. The Rush Hour franchise began in 1998, with its sequel and third installment releasing in 2001 and 2007, respectively.

"I don't know. Ask the director, ask the studio, ask the writer," Chan said when asked about RH4. "Hurry up! Otherwise, Chris Tucker and me [will be] 100 years old. We'll be old men doing 'Rush Hour.'"

But Chan confirmed that he wants to be in the film, adding that the "script is still going on."

Chan also spoke about the Rush Hour series around the 7-minute mark of his first "Puppy Interview" with Buzzfeed, saying that it cost "too much money" to film RH3. The film grossed over $258 million globally with a $140 million budget. Altogether, the trilogy has amassed $849 million worldwide.

In 2023, Tucker told Audacy’s V-103, per Variety, that RH4 was on his list of upcoming projects, and that he would "probably drop in there" because he loves working with the legendary martial artist.
