Eminem, Jack White, Jeff Daniels and Steve Buscemi were among the guests on Stephen Colbert's surprise public access special.

On Friday (May 22), Colbert was a host of special Only in Monroe filmed in Monroe, Michigan, just one day after signing off on The Late Show, which he hosted for 11 years.

"It’s been an excruciating 23 hours without being on TV, so I am grateful to be able to be here on Monroe Community Media before they also get acquired by Paramount," Colbert joked.

Paramount announced the cancellation of The Late Show last year just days after Colbert publicly criticized the company for allegedly editing an interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris.

On Only in Monroe, which can be viewed above, White played DJ while Buscemi gave a public service announcement about pizza parlor The Original Buscemis, which he’s unaffiliated with.

Eminem joined in as "Fire Marshall" via video call towards the end of the public access show, where he approved of Colbert and the crew torching a trash can outside. "You are absolutely clear to burn that muthafucka down, bro," the rapper said.

On the day of Colbert's final show, President Donald Trump celebrated its end on Truth Social and mocked how Colbert "lasted so long."

"He was like a dead person. You could take any person off of the street and they would be better than this total jerk. Thank goodness he’s finally gone!" Trump wrote.

Colbert fans didn’t mince their words about Trump during The Late Show finale, as displayed in an explicit graffiti message outside the Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway.

"Thank you Stephen," it read. "And fuck you CBS And Donald Trump."
