DDG broke down his Mount Rushmore of streamers while visiting 2Chainz’s podcast Me & Halo.

On the May 21 episode of the podcast, which the rapper co-hosts with his youngest child, Halo, DDG named himself iShowSpeed, Kai Cenat and PlaqueBoyMax as the streamers who’d be the faces on his Mount Rushmore.

Around the 21:00 mark of the video below, the popular streamer explained why he ranked himself by mentioning his 2025 Hit-A-Thon, where he recorded an album via livestream during a 24/7 weeklong livestream. Among those who joined DDG in the studio were DaBaby, BIA, Ty Dolla $ign and more for what would eventually become his latest album, Blame the Chat.

“They watched me sleep, wake up,” DDG explained. “See, people don’t watch Twitch…So, when the people that watch Twitch, they see everything. But it's like watching a movie. But you hear the director say cut. Or you see them go backstage in the green room right for their next scene.”

DDG added that Hit-A-Thon allowed him to bring viewers behind-the-scenes, even if he would “argue with folks about production.”

“But I made an album in seven days,” he continued. “So that was like bridging the gap.”

Last May, DDG told TMZ that he changed the music industry by becoming the first rapper to record an album live on Twitch.

"The music industry getting boring, I had to spice it up," he told the outlet. "I don't really like how mysterious the music industry is, for real. I feel like it's better when artists connect closer with the fans so they can feel like they're more of a part of the process rather than just being surprised."
