Armie Hammer Recalls Feeling ‘Nothing’ While Making Out With a Man: ‘Not Even a Twitch… Flaccid’

The actor used Grindr believing that "gay dudes seem to have it so easy." He added that he thought "women are the worst."

Armie Hammer tried his chances with Grindr before getting out of bicuriousity.

The actor, and now, podcaster, hosted a new episode of his Armie HammerTime podcast, posted on Sunday (March 2), and spoke to guest mental health coach Dani Druz about once trying to cruise.

From 2010 to 2023, Hammer was married to reality show star Elizabeth Chambers, with whom he shares two children. Although he didn't specify whether he had attempted to hook up with a man during their relationship, Hammer has been controversial for cheating on Chambers with multiple women, some of whom have accused him of having a cannibalistic fetish.

"I tried hooking up with a dude one time. It was hilarious because I was like, 'You know what, women are the worst,'" the Call Me By Your Name actor told Druz around the 14-minute mark of the video above.

"Gay dudes seem to have it so easy, like so easy," he continued. "I’m at a restaurant, my phone blows up and it’s like Grindr and someone else is like, 'I’m at the same restaurant do you want a blowjob in the bathroom?' and you’re like, 'Hey guys, I’ll be back in five minutes.'"

Hammer continued by sharing a hypothetical situation where queer men could simply return to the dinner table as if nothing happened post-hookup, prompting him to give it a "try."

But it was when Hammer met a "handsome" French man that he changed his mind. "God, beards,'" he thought. "'Like, I get it why women like it when you shave. This thing is fucking rough, how do I get in there?'"

When Hammer tried to embrace the man, it was physically intimidating, as his shoulders were "so big," and the two were of similar height. "And it did physically for me, absolutely nothing. Not even a twitch," he continued.

Although the encounter was getting "hotter and heavier," Hammer still wasn't turned on even as the man tried to touch his "flaccid penis."

"'This is not going to happen. I'm sorry,'" he said.

Hammer continued about ending the make out session. "I was like, 'I've got to stop this here.'"

Last month, the actor was on The Louis Theroux Podcast when he referenced his past sex life, claiming that texts from a former partner referring to him as a cannibal were a joke.

"Sometimes when you're involved with a person and you're dating and you guys are having sex and you are a bit of a provocateur," Hammer said in the episode. "And you are exacerbated by alcohol or drugs or anything like that, it's fun to ruffle feathers and it's fun to push the envelope little by little."
