Rob Kardashian made a rare appearance on Instagram, sharing a sweet father-daughter moment with his 8-year-old, Dream.
On Sunday, June 9, the former reality star posted a photo showing off a pair of matching Kobe Bryant Nike sneakers he and Dream had recently picked up.
“Yay 🥰🥰 Dream and I got Kobe’s,” Rob captioned the snap, featuring the brightly patterned kicks.
Dream has seemingly been a longtime fan of the late NBA legend. Last Halloween, she even dressed up as the Lakers icon — something Rob proudly documented on his socials.
"My daughter wanted to be Kobe for Halloween and I couldn’t of been Happier 🥹😍🏆💜💛🐍🎃👻. Dreamy bean aka Kobe bean 🥰💙💙💙," he wrote underneath the photo.
Rob’s latest post marks a rare social media moment for the 38-year-old, who has largely stayed out of the public eye in recent years.
His last sighting was back in April, when Kris Jenner shared a family photo from Easter. In the group shot, Rob stood beside his mom and sisters, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, along with their kids.
As for why Rob has stepped away from the spotlight, Khloé shed some light during a December 2024 interview with Bustle.
"I feel so deeply what he feels — the struggles that he has, or just wanting to be out of the public eye, or just feeling like he doesn’t fit in or is being judged about his appearance," she explained.
Rob previously starred on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and his own spinoff Rob & Chyna, but he’s since taken a major step back from television.
Still, Khloé revealed in a 2023 episode of The Kardashians that she hopes her brother might eventually return to the screen.
"I do think Rob would come back to the show," the TV star said at the time. "He talks about it a lot, he does, but I do know that Rob has been through a lot personally."
