Ozzy Osbourne passed away at age 76 in July of 2025. Less than a year after his death, his wife Sharon is selling the 10,000-square-foot Los Angeles home that they shared. The residence is located in the Hancock Park neighborhood, about five miles from downtown.
The Mediterranean-style home includes seven bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a mosaic-tiled pool, a guest house, and a home theater. The theater contains signatures of guests who visited over the years, including Elvis Presley, Mel Tormé and Natalie Wood. According to Josh Greer of Carolwood Estates, one of the realtors who is handling the sale of the property, the tradition of leaving signatures was started by the home’s previous owner, radio host Frank Bresee. The Osbournes continued with it when they purchased the house themselves.
A description of the property from Carolwood Estates reads, “One of the legendary trophy estates of Hancock Park. Steeped in Hollywood history, designed in 1929 by architect A.K. Kellogg. Situated behind tall gates for maximum privacy, this stunning property has been meticulously restored with attention to detail and craftsmanship rarely found today.”
The residence, which is currently listed for $17 million, was initially purchased by the Osbournes for $11.85 million back in 2015. Before Ozzy died, the couple put the house on the market, considering moving to England to live in their Buckinghamshire estate. However, they ended up taking it off the market.
Ozzy and Sharon met when her father was managing Black Sabbath. After Ozzy left, she became his manager to help him pursue his solo career. The pair were married in 1982 in Hawaii, and renewed their vows in 2017. They share three children, Aimee, Kelly, and Jack.
Ozzy passed away only weeks after performing his final concert with Black Sabbath, which raised over $190 million for charities. According to People, “His cause of death was cardiac arrest and acute myocardial infarction, with coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease with autonomic dysfunction listed as joint causes.”
