Meghan Trainor was scheduled to kick off her Get in Girl Tour this June, during which she would visit over 30 cities across North America. However, she has recently canceled the entire tour.

"Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now,” she explained. “I need to be home and present for each and all of them at this time.”

Trainor is a mother to three children. Her daughter, Mikey Moon, was born on January 18 via surrogate. After the birth, Trainor posted photographs of the new family member with the caption, “Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally made it to the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate. We are forever grateful to all the doctors, nurses, teams who made this dream possible. We had endless conversations with our doctors in this journey and this was the safest way for us to be able to continue growing our family. We are over the moon in love with this precious girl.”

Trainor shares two other children with her husband, Daryl Sabara. The pair married on December 22, 2018, the same day that the singer turned 25.

“I know this will come as a disappointment to my fans, and I am so sorry to let you down,” Trainor said in her statement. “But I know this is the right decision for my family and me right now. I promise I'll be back soon, and I can't wait for you to hear this new record. I'm so proud of it and I'm endlessly grateful for your love and support always.”

Trainor’s seventh studio album, Toy With Me, will be released April 24.
