A new collection of LEGO Toy Story sets has been announced in anticipation of Toy Story 5, which will be in theaters this June.
The models are inspired by Slinky Dog, Lotso, and the Pizza Planet rocket ride.
The Slinky Dog set contains 1,311 pieces and is meant for ages 18 and over. This dachshund model has fabric ears with movable paws and a turning head. It also contains two books that can be attached to the character or stand on their own.
The official LEGO site explains that the books “include a few Easter eggs: the small one has a spine function that reveals a Slinky Dog character. The big one has two functions: turn a knob to reveal a Woody minifigure or remove part of the cover to peek inside and find more surprises.”
If you’re interested in a more kid-friendly set, the Lotso model, which consists of 570 pieces, is meant for ages nine and older. The pink-and-white bear has a movable face, arms, legs, and hands, so the character can be positioned standing or sitting. It also comes with his iconic walking stick and has surprise Easter eggs hidden in its back. When complete, it stands over 6.5 inches high.
The alien LEGO set is also meant for ages nine and up. It includes 714 pieces, making it easy for beginners to build. This alien has a movable head, arms, hands and feet. The official product page states, “There’s also a working rocket ride machine, inspired by the claw machine in Pizza Planet, with a turning crank to move the machine up and down, and a coin dispenser that opens and holds two small coins.” This model stands over 8.5 inches tall.
These LEGO Toy Story sets aren’t the only Pixar products available. There are also models based off hit films like Cars, Inside Out, WALL-E, and Up. The Pixar lamp and ball is even available to build.
