Kristin Cavallari opened up about her time on The Hills during the April 7 episode of her Let’s Be Honest podcast. While sitting down with her former Laguna Beach co-star, Lauren Conrad, Cavallari admitted to hooking up with a cameraman named Miguel Medina in 2010.
"There's nothing like a set romance," she said. When Conrad confirmed she never hooked up with anyone on the crew, Cavallari added, “You missed out!"
"We hung out for a couple of months,” Cavallari explained. “And we kept it a secret. I was dating Brody [Jenner] on the show. So I was like, 'We’re being professional.'"
In the past, Cavallari explained that her on-screen romance with Jenner was fake, and that he was still dating Jayde Nicole at the time.
“Brody and I had a whole fake relationship,” she revealed on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “He pretended like he broke up with Jayde, his girlfriend, they were still fully together the whole time. And then Brody and I were at the club and Jayde saw us and we got into a huge fight over it but that was all fake. All of it was fake.”
As for the cameraman, Cavallari revealed that she was photographed with Medina a week before the show wrapped. “They fired him,” she said. “I remember I fought with [show creator] Adam [DiVello]. I was like, 'You guys would have never had any idea. We’ve been nothing but professional.'"
The Let’s Be Honest podcast drops every Tuesday. The show “sets the record straight on everything from dating and relationships, nutrition and wellness, to what’s really going on behind those headlines. In her new lifestyle podcast, Cavallari dives into what connects people (and breaks them up), what makes people feel physically and spiritually healthy, and how to love yourself along the way.”
