Jon Hamm has been promoting the newest season of Your Friends & Neighbors. The Apple TV show is a dark comedy about a wealthy man who suddenly finds himself divorced and jobless. To stay afloat, he starts targeting his own social circle, stealing from his rich friends and neighbors. The series stars Hamm as well as other big names like Anna Osceola, Amanda Peet, and Olivia Munn.
In the first few minutes of this season’s premiere episode, the 55-year-old actor exposed his backside. When he appeared on SiriusXM radio show, Radio Andy, he was asked whether he used a butt double during the scenes. “It’s my real butt, I think,” Hamm answered before admitting that he didn’t do anything special to prepare for the scene. The actor revealed that he didn’t think much about how his behind would look and would rely on post-production edits if there were any blemishes.
This isn’t the first time that Hamm has been asked questions about his body on screen. When he was paying Sheriff Roy Tillman on Fargo, he had to wear prosthetic pierced nipples. "I had to have some very blue latex put on my nipples,” he explained during an FX panel. “And then they cast a resoundingly lifelike pair of nipples, which they then pierced and placed over my own nipples, and we shot said nipples. The crew doesn’t get enough credit, but there was a dedicated nippleologist."
Hamm also appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen this week, where he was asked about the recent West Wilson and Amanda Batula relationship news. Apparently, Hamm saw Ciara Miller only a night before on a red carpet and asked her how she was doing. She told him, “I’ve been better.”
When discussing the Summer House situation, Hamm said that he was “team Ciara, for sure.” He went on to say, “Having just met Ciara, I think she’s a great gal and she will certainly end up on her feet.”
