Jennie rose to fame as a member of the girl group Blackpink, but she has since made a name for herself as a solo singer, songwriter, and actress. Now, she is collabing with a California beachwear brand, Frankies Bikinis. They are releasing a collection of swim to street bathing suits, boy shorts, tees, and sweats.
“Frankie has always created pieces that I would actually want to wear, so I always loved the brand,” Jennie told ELLE. “I thought it would be a really cool opportunity to show my side of swimwear and create pieces that felt very me.”
In her post announcing the collaboration, she said, “Can’t wait for you all to see the collection.” It has more than four million likes with thousands of comments from excited fans.
Jennie first drew attention in a swimsuit when she was performing at Coachella in 2025. She posted photos of herself untying her bathrobe, revealing a black and red bikini top with her name printed across it. The post thanked everyone for their support.
“What a wild journey it was leading up to my first ever solo Coachella weeks,” she said before thanking individuals by name. She ended the message with: “From starting out to my album Ruby and my first show: Ruby experience to Coachella. A new chapter has just opened up for me and I'll keep moving forward. To those who waited and supported me throughout all I f*cking love you.”
When asked whether she would wear anything from her new collection on tour in the future, she said, “Yeah, I think I would. I’d probably wear a bikini top with oversized pants or a jacket. In the summer, I like mixing swimwear with casual clothes to add that effortless element.”
The JENNIE x Frankies Bikinis collection drops on April 2.
