Robert Pattinson has been promoting his new A24 film, The Drama, which he is starring in with Zendaya. During the premiere in Rome, a reporter asked him what sign he considers a red flag in relationships. He answered, “Like zodiac sign? Aries.” After laughing, he quickly added, “I’m joking. I just picked a random one!”
However, some fans believe that he mentioned Aries on purpose, pointing out that his ex, Kristen Stewart, was born on April 9, 1990. That makes her an Aries.
Pattinson and Stewart dated for four years after appearing in the Twilight films together. The pair made headlines in 2012, when Stewart was photographed cheating with Rupert Sanders, the married director of Snow White and the Huntsman.
In July of that year, she issued a public apology about the incident, saying, “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”
The pair officially split in May 2013. When speaking about their chemistry with the New Yorker, Stewart said, “We were young and stupid and, not to say that we made [Twilight] so much better, but that’s what it needed, and that’s what anybody playing those parts needed to feel.”
Stewart came out as gay in a 2017 SNL monologue, which she described as, "Less about sharing the details of my relationship and more so acknowledging that there are people that don't get full access to being alive because they're hiding." She married Dylan Meyer, a screenwriter and film producer, in April 2025. Pattinson has been with actress and singer, Suki Waterhouse, since 2018. They had their first child in March 2024.
