**SPOILER ALERT**
Donna Kelce, the mother of NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce, has often been referred to in the media as “America’s mom.” Known for her passionate support of both of her sons and her frequent appearance at NFL games, the 73-year-old is probably not the first person many would expect to agree to appear on a reality television show that is based largely on manipulation and deceit.
That’s why many fans were surprised to find out that Donna would be starring on the newest season of the show, The Traitors.
Donna arrived at Scotland’s lavish Andross Castle to compete alongside a number of big-name stars, such as Lisa Rinna, Maura Higgins, Mark Ballas, and Tara Lipinski, just to name a few.
She was ultimately the fourth person to be eliminated after being identified by the cast as a traitor. After leaving the show, she expressed how much fun she had and how grateful she was for the experience.
While Donna might not have been able to stay on the show quite as long as many may have hoped, her sons made it clear that they are still very proud of her performance.
During a recent episode of their New Heights podcast, Jason and Travis discussed what it was like to watch their mother take on this unique role.
Jason acknowledged that he found his mom to be “way more deceitful and devious than ”they’ve ever seen her.”
“So proud of her, man,” Travis agreed.
“It was just so fun to see her out there, living out her dream, giving the world a beautiful message about being fortunate enough to do these things at her age and where she is in life,” he continued, complimenting her for not backing down when she was interrogated at the round table.
