Quentin Tarantino Is Reportedly Putting Together a New Movie About the Manson Murders

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Quentin Tarantino is starting to put together the pieces for his next film, which will be about the infamous murders committed by the Manson Family nearly 50 years ago.

The movie, which is still awaiting a title, was written by Tarantino, and he's also in line to direct. Both Harvey and Bob Weinstein, who have produced and executive produced Tarantino's past films, are reportedly (and not surprisingly) also involved.

The prospective film is currently in the stages of being shopped to studios to get them to help pay for and distribute the looming project. If you're the type who's interested in rumors that involve actual actors being named, know that both Jennifer Lawrence and Brad Pitt are said to have been approached for roles for the flick.

While THR admits that details on the plot are hazy, it seems that one of the stories will be centered around the gruesome Sharon Tate murders, which are likely well known to anyone who's either read Helter Skelter, or just happens to be familiar with the general fucknuttery the Manson Family partook in in the late '60s.
