During tonight’s Academy Awards, Netflix debuted their first teaser for Will Smith and Joel Edgerton’s upcoming film Bright.
Directed by David Ayer (Suicide Squad) and written by Max Landis, the 30-second clip showcases the sci-fi world where humans co-exists with magical creatures. The supernatural cop film features Smith working for a police division handling crimes involving magic. He partners with an Orc (Edgerton) to find a powerful weapon everyone is prepared to kill for.
Noomi Repace, Edgar Ramírez, Ike Barinholtz and Kenneth Choi are also set to be featured in the Netflix original film.
