Watch 'SNL' Make Fun of Donald Trump Firing James Comey

Alec Baldwin reprises his role as Donald Trump to mock the firing of FBI Director James Comey.

SNL opened with another political-themed introduction featuring our favorite characters: Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump, Mikey Day as Paul Ryan, and Michael Che as Lester Holt.

The skit is a mock interview conducted by Holt. He cuts right to the chase and asks Trump about the firing of FBI director James Comey. There’s suspicions that Trump let go of Comey because he was investigating his ties with Russia. Did he just admit to obstruction of justice? “I fired him because of Russia,” Trump says. “I thought: ‘He’s investigating Russia. I don’t like that. I should fire him.’”

Wait, did Holt just get him? “Oh, no I didn’t? Nothing matters? Absolutely nothing matters anymore?” Holt says to a round of cheers by the audience.

The two go through more topics like Kellyanne Conway, Anderson Cooper’s eyeroll, Trump’s meeting with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak, his plans to replace Comey, and much more. Holt even flat out asks Trump if he’s trolling us. It’s great. Check it out above.
