Watch Chris Pine Crack Jokes About Other Actors Named Chris in His 'SNL' Monologue

Chris Pine hosts his first 'SNL' tonight.

Chris Pine is prepping for SNL in the best way…by dancing himself clean.

In a promo for this week’s episode, Pine and Kate McKinnon star in a goofy promo live from Studio 8H, in which the pair rock out to LCD Soundsystem’s “Dance Yrself Clean.” Without spoiling too much, McKinnon stunts with a fake pregnancy bump, and Pine gets crazy with some monster claws. Watch it below.

During his monologue, Pine poked fun at the fact that nobody can seem to figure which Chris he is. There are a few famous actors with the name Chris (Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt), so he tried to distinguish himself through a song and dance. SNL cast members Leslie Jones, Pete Davidson, and McKinnon made cameos, and even they couldn't seem to get it right. When images of his character Steve Trevor from Wonder Woman and Steve Rogers appeared side-by-side, Davidson was still confused. It took Pine to end his monologue with a big banner of his name to get his point across.

Pine hosts the second of four episodes that’ll broadcast live across all time zones in the U.S. The inaugural episode featured Jimmy Fallon and musical guest Harry Styles. If you missed Styles’ performances, you can check them out here.
