Paris Jackson 'Misguided' Despite Receiving $65 Million From Michael Jackson Estate

Paris Jackson has reignited tensions with the executors of Michael Jackson’s estate.

But court documents and estate insiders paint a different picture, one of record growth and financial care for the late singer’s children.

Jackson, 27, filed a legal petition accusing estate co-executors John Branca and John McClain of deliberately dragging probate into a sixteenth year to collect fees.

She claimed they control over $460 million in cash while delaying full financial transparency to her and her brothers.

Estate representatives called her claims baseless.

“This is another misguided attempt by Paris Jackson’s attorneys to provide themselves cover,” an insider with knowledge of the estate said.

“Paris Jackson’s lawyers lost their latest case against the Estate and have been ordered to pay the Estate’s attorneys’ expenses. All the beneficiaries are well taken care of by the Estate. This is a weak attempt to change the narrative of their loss.”

Since Michael Jackson’s death in 2009, Paris has received more than $65 million in allowance from the estate.

Paris is also set to inherit a third of the estate’s value, payable in stages over the course of years.

Her grandmother, Katherine Jackson, has received over $60 million.

Despite inheriting over $500 million in debt, Branca and McClain rebuilt Jackson’s business empire into a $3 billion enterprise.

In 2021 alone, the estate paid the executors under $8 million, an amount permitted by the probate court.

Paris’s petition also pointed to $2.1 million paid to Branca’s firm, but this too is common for large estates and documented in court-approved financial records.

Projects like This Is It, MJ: The Musical, and Michael Jackson ONE have grossed billions.

The 2022 $600 million Sony publishing deal cemented the estate’s financial strength.

These business moves allowed the estate to provide long-term security for Jackson’s heirs while protecting his legacy from legal threats and public scandals.

Multiple Jackson family members, including brothers Tito and Jackie, have praised the estate's stewardship, calling it the most effective administration in modern entertainment.

Observers say the current structure ensures Michael Jackson’s heirs will benefit for decades.

These claims come on the verge of her recent struggles with alleged drug use.

Paris has spoken publicly about personal struggles, including addiction and mental health.

In a recent TikTok video, she said earlier drug use caused a hole in her nasal septum.

“I don’t recommend it because it ruined my life,” she said.
